Dubai’s leading global trade and business district, DMCC, has announced two major partnerships with the Beijing Innovation Service Hub for Digital Economy Enterprise Going Global and the Beijing Chaoyang Council for the Promotion of International Trade. These agreements were formalized during DMCC’s first Made For Trade Live roadshow of 2025, held across Beijing and Shenzhen, where it was also revealed that the number of Chinese companies within DMCC has surged by 17.5% year-on-year, approaching the 1,000 mark.
This collaboration aims to enhance trade promotion, facilitate investment, and create strategic business matchmaking opportunities. By fostering direct connections between businesses and key government and private sector stakeholders in both Dubai and Beijing, the initiative will drive greater commercial integration. The partnerships will also facilitate co-hosted business seminars, investment roadshows, and networking events, while leveraging digital trade and blockchain technologies to ensure seamless, secure cross-border transactions. Companies in both regions will gain access to a wealth of new investment opportunities, streamlined business setup solutions, and an expanded international market reach.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, emphasized the significance of this development, noting that DMCC has become the preferred business hub for Chinese companies in Dubai. “With nearly 1,000 Chinese enterprises now thriving within DMCC, our district stands as the natural gateway for Chinese businesses expanding into the region. The continued growth of our Chinese business community reflects the unparalleled value we provide—offering world-class office spaces, tailored services, and dedicated ecosystems for commodities, AI, and Web3 technologies. These new partnerships with the Beijing Innovation Service Hub and Beijing Chaoyang mark a major milestone in strengthening our commercial ties, creating new business momentum, and ensuring that DMCC remains the top choice for Chinese enterprises.”
The Made For Trade Live roadshow, organized in collaboration with Yingtian Global, gathered top business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs in Beijing and Shenzhen—two of China’s foremost economic centers. The event showcased DMCC’s extensive support system, highlighting why it is the ideal launchpad for Chinese companies looking to expand their global footprint. With over 950 Chinese companies already established within DMCC, the district now represents over 15% of the estimated 6,000 Chinese businesses operating across the UAE.
As a key player in shaping Dubai’s economic landscape, DMCC’s Made For Trade Live event series plays a vital role in attracting international businesses, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global trade powerhouse. The district continues to drive record-breaking levels of new business registrations, contributing to 15% of all foreign direct investment into Dubai and further cementing its reputation as a catalyst for economic growth.
