The UAE National Metrology Center has released its latest weather forecast, anticipating a dynamic mix of conditions from Thursday, February 20, to Monday, February 24. Residents can expect shifting weather patterns, including fog, mist, increasing cloud cover, and sporadic rainfall across various parts of the country.

Thursday, February 20:
The morning will begin on a humid note, particularly in internal regions, with a likelihood of fog and mist. As the day progresses, skies will be partly cloudy to overcast at times, with rainfall expected in northern, coastal, and eastern areas. Winds will stay light to moderate but could strengthen up to 40 km/h. Sea conditions will remain relatively calm, with slight to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and a slight swell in the Oman Sea.

Friday, February 21:
The weather will follow a similar pattern, with morning humidity settling over western coastal areas. Clouds will build up over the northern and eastern regions, potentially bringing early rain showers. Winds will continue at light to moderate speeds, occasionally lifting dust, while sea conditions remain steady.

Saturday, February 22:
A veil of fog or mist is expected to form over coastal and inland areas during the early hours, followed by fair to partly cloudy conditions throughout the day. Winds will maintain a gentle pace, peaking at 30 km/h, and the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will see calm to slight waves.

Sunday, February 23:
Morning humidity will bring the possibility of mist formation, leading into a day of mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. By night, cloud cover will increase over the northern and coastal regions. A gradual temperature rise is expected, but winds will gain momentum late at night, reaching speeds of 40 km/h. The sea will stay slight to moderate.

Monday, February 24:
The week will conclude with another round of morning mist or fog in internal areas, followed by partly to mostly cloudy skies. Coastal and northern areas may experience light showers. A dip in temperatures is expected, especially in the western regions, while winds could become gusty, causing blowing dust. The Arabian Gulf is forecasted to see rough to moderate waves, while the Oman Sea remains relatively calm.

Safety Advisory:
Authorities urge residents to remain vigilant, particularly in foggy areas where visibility may be reduced. Those in coastal and northern regions should also be prepared for sporadic rain and stronger winds. Stay updated with official weather reports to navigate the changing conditions safely.
