Dubai has taken a significant step toward strengthening community engagement with the launch of My Dubai Communities, a digital platform aimed at uniting people through shared interests. This initiative, introduced in the Year of the Community, is designed to bring together citizens, residents, and visitors by offering access to around 100 specialized communities catering to diverse age groups, nationalities, and cultural backgrounds.

Announcing the platform on his X account, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, emphasized the city’s vision of fostering deeper connections among its people.

“Today, we have launched My Dubai Communities, a digital space where individuals can discover and join communities that align with their passions and interests,” he stated.

Sheikh Hamdan credited the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in driving this initiative. He highlighted how Dubai continues its mission to become one of the best cities in the world to live, work, and thrive, aligning with the objectives of Dubai Social Agenda 33.

The My Dubai Communities platform serves as a hub for interaction and collaboration, creating opportunities for engagement in fields such as culture, arts, sports, wellness, and professional development. Available at mydubaicommunities.com, the initiative extends across social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok (@mydubaicommunities), making it more accessible and engaging for the community.

Encouraging participation, Sheikh Hamdan invited everyone to be part of this interactive network, which falls under the broader #MyDubai initiative. He urged people to embrace values of solidarity and cooperation, reinforcing Dubai’s spirit of unity and inclusivity.
