UAE Utilizes Tech Advances to Reduce July Fuel Prices Amid Stabilized Markets

by admin477351

In a move that brings much-needed reprieve to motorists, the United Arab Emirates has announced a substantial decrease in fuel prices for July. This development follows a period of rising costs driven by earlier global oil market disruptions. The UAE’s Fuel Price Committee has lowered the prices across all fuel categories, including Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus, and diesel, marking the first such reduction since February.

The price of Super 98 petrol will now be Dh3.40 per litre, down from Dh3.95. Meanwhile, both Special 95 and E-Plus saw reductions exceeding 50 fils per litre. Diesel experienced the most significant drop, falling by 73 fils to Dh3.60 per litre. These adjustments reflect the decreasing global crude oil prices, a result of improved supply conditions in the region.

The easing of global oil prices in June comes in the wake of reduced fears over prolonged disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Diplomatic efforts have successfully contributed to stabilizing the situation, bringing Brent crude prices closer to levels seen before the conflict. Although fuel prices remain higher than earlier this year, the July cut offers some financial relief to commuters and families alike.

Analysts indicate that the future trajectory of fuel prices will largely depend on the stability of geopolitical tensions and the continued recovery of global oil supply. The current reduction is a welcome adjustment, lightening the financial load for many residents amidst ongoing economic uncertainties.
