In a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah, to reaffirm the UAE’s dedication to supporting its citizens and enhancing national growth. The dialogue underscored the central role of Emirati citizens in the country’s development agenda, highlighting their importance in achieving the UAE’s long-term goals. Both leaders expressed their hopes for the sustained security, prosperity, and advancement of the United Arab Emirates.

Accompanying Sheikh Hamad was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. Among the attendees were several high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, along with other ministers and government officials, were also present.

The meeting was part of the UAE leadership’s ongoing efforts to regularly review national priorities and strengthen inter-emirate cooperation. These consultations aim to enhance the quality of life for both citizens and residents by aligning strategic goals and fostering collaboration among the emirates. The discussions are indicative of the UAE’s proactive approach to ensuring cohesive national development and citizen welfare.

Earlier this year, in April, President Sheikh Mohamed visited Fujairah, where he and Sheikh Hamad conducted a tour of Fujairah Port. During this visit, they evaluated the progress of development projects and operational improvements at this vital maritime hub. This recent meeting continues the dialogue initiated during that visit, reinforcing the commitment to advancing key infrastructure and development initiatives across the nation.
