The United Arab Emirates is set to experience unsettled weather conditions this week, with rain expected across several regions on Tuesday. The forecast indicates the development of convective clouds over northern, eastern, and southern areas, potentially bringing rainfall accompanied by strong winds and blowing dust.
Temperatures in inland areas could reach as high as 40°C, while coastal regions are expected to see temperatures ranging between 33°C and 37°C. Mountainous areas may experience cooler conditions, with temperatures between 26°C and 32°C. Winds are anticipated to range from 10 to 25 km/h, potentially increasing to 45 km/h in inland areas and 40 km/h in mountainous regions.
Humidity levels are projected to rise overnight and into Wednesday morning, creating the potential for fog or mist in some coastal and inland locations. The Arabian Gulf is expected to have slight to moderate conditions, while the Oman Sea remains slight.
Unsettled weather is predicted to persist through Saturday. On Wednesday, rain-bearing clouds may form over northern and eastern regions, with winds possibly reaching up to 50 km/h. Further rainfall is anticipated in eastern and southern areas on Thursday, predominantly in eastern regions on Friday, and across eastern and northern areas on Saturday.
The ongoing weather disturbances are linked to a surface low-pressure system, complemented by a weak upper-level low-pressure system. Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to strong winds and reduced visibility due to dust and fog.
